Today King Dedede was announced for Brawl. He actually looks pretty cool.
He’s a heavy character, like DK and Bowser.
This is his grand entrance…
Of course, he has his mallet o’ doom.
That must really stink for Bowser.
And, the first Kirby hat has been released, too.
This game is really turning out to be awesome.
I’ve recently been playing the Fire Emblem games for GBA (Best ones, in my opinion) like crazy, and I’ve been looking through YouTube for hacks.

Oh, and also today on the Smash Bros. Site, they announced that the Home Run Contest is back…
“Whoo-Hoo” was what I was thinking when I first saw the update, but after reading it, I think it looks really cool now!
The rules are the same: Beat up the sandbog until he has enough damage, then whack him with the bat
But…
Now there’s a shield covering the “base”, so if you use light attacks, you can’t push it off the stage!
Now, two players can work together and whack the Sandbag!
Plus, there’s Wi-Fi for it, too!
A new stage was announced today on the Super Smash Bros. Website. It’s New Pork City from Mother 3.
It’s a huge stage, and it scrolls like Rainbow Cruise from Melee.
Looks awesome, right?
On closer inspection, the buildings are flat!
Pretty neat, huh?

I think this is my second favorite stage, right after the WarioWare stage.
I never thought this would happen. This update had less of a chance to get in than Lucas did, but it still happened…
Crazy, right? Sonic the Hedgehog is in Brawl.

I think he looks like a great character. His attacks look really cool, and best of all…
THEY GOT HIM A GOOD VOICE ACTOR.
Yeah, you never thought he could have a good voice actor, but he sounds really good in this game.
Well, that’s my exciting news for the day… Or at least for this morning… Whatever.
And, for reasons far beyond my knowledge, they’re nothing special…
And they all have to do with punching stuff…
Huh, it’s amazing how the titles look oh-so similar…
Meh, I’m glad they added Neo-Geo games to the VC, but could they have at least released Blue’s Journey or Aero Fighters 3? Those are some great Neo-Geo games.
Oh, and those games will run you six bucks a pop, so it’s not crazy expensive…
Well, I actually got this game and I must say, this is probably my favorite game for the DS that’s out right now!
Here’s my little mini-review:
Gamplay: 9/10
I absolutely LOVE this game. Although I never liked the boat-sailing aspect of Wind Waker, I love it in this game. The sea is a little smaller, for one thing, so it’s not as overwhelming. You can also control the boat’s route with the Touch Screen. The dungeons are a blast to play, too. Challenging puzzles, great use of the DS’ functions, and neat enemies make the dungeons really cool.
Controls: 10/10
Sure, they may be a little awkward at first, but after you get used to them, I think this game may have to best controls of any Zelda game. There’s some fun weapons that I could go into detail with, but this is meant to be spoiler free, so I’ll leave it there.
Graphics: 9/10
Could be the best graphics of any DS game out right now. Although in an earlier post, I claimed I didn’t like how big Link’s eyes are, they’re not too huge, and it matches the style of the game. In screenshots, the graphics might look jaggy, but they’re really spectacular in the game.
Length: ??/10
I’ve yet to beat it, so I’m not too sure.
Overall: 9/10!
A must-have for the DS. Pick it up today!
This is probably my favorite Smash Update. Lucas from Mother 3 is finally announced for Brawl! I never thought this would happen, but I really wanted it to.
He uses PK moves like Ness, but they look like they aren’t the same moves.
I, for one, really like how they turned Lucas to 3-d. I think he looks better than ever!
I hope more Mother-themed characters will be in Brawl.
