On Friday, we got one of the coolest Smash Updates yet: Masterieces!

It’s Super Mario Bros! But… What does this have to do with Brawl?

Hmm, Ice Climbers too? What’s all this about?

Amazingly, you can play demos of old Nintendo games right from your Brawl copy!

Yes, it’s the Legend of Zelda!

And Kid Icarus!

Kirby’s Adventure is one of the titles, too!

And… One of my all-time favorite games: Super Metroid!

And even Starfox 64!

The biggest problem with it is…

I think this is a great addition to Brawl, and I can’t wait to play it!

Today one of our Smash Updates was an interview between Satoru Iwata (President of Nintendo) and Masahiro Sakurai (Sora, ltd., Working on Brawl).

We also got on of the coolest Pokeball Pokemon for Brawl… Manaphy!

Yup, Manaphy is a Pokeball Pokemon…

But.. What does it do..?

It pops out of the Pokeball…

It uses Heart Swap!

… What happened?

Although it’s hard to tell from the screenshots, Zelda and DK have switched bodies!

So, let’s say P1 is DK, and P2 is Zelda…

After using Heart Swap, P1 is Zelda, and P2 is DK!

After awhile, you switch back…

Also, don’t go jumping off the edge, it will still count as a self destruct for you!

Yeah, Brawl delayed again! I can’t believe it’s turning out to be Twillight Princess all over again… Oh well, gives me more time to pre-order it…

Anywho, I’ve found some really cool icons for Mac OS X/Windows.

Yeah, I’ve already completely installed all of the icons throughout my computer, and I have to say they’re pretty sweet.

Unfortunatly, I don’t have Leopard, so I can’t install the awesome dock, but it’s still cool, and I should be getting Leopard pretty soon.

We also got a new stage update today, Distant Planet from Pikmin!

Aparrently, the vines are very bouncy.

You’ll see Pellets, and if you take them to an Onion, they turn into items.

It rains super hard here, so stay off the side of the stage if it’s raining.

Of course, you can get eaten by the Bulborbs.. Are those Pikmin in there?! Maybe if you’re Olimar, the Pikmin can be hidden around the stage…

Yup, Snake’s Final Smash finally (No pun intended) gets announced.

Looks like he’s calling something… What is it?

Snake does one epic jump…

And he drops out of the helicopter, in a third person view!

You can shoot the opposing players…

Shoot 12 shots or run outta time, and Snake climbs up the ladder.

This looks like an AWESOME update, can’t wait to use Snake!!

Yeah, this one I wasn’t expecting at all, even less than Sonic…

It’s Captain Olimar and his Pikmin!!

Yeah, he’s a playable character, not an assist trophy!!

So far, there’s only 4 screenshots of him, but he still looks awesome!

Yeah, the purple Pikmin are the best. Probably cause I look like them.

There’s all the Pikmin, even the white ones!

Looks like he hits people with his friends…

I think he can only use them a few times before they die… Maybe there’s an Onion Ship that can bring more of them…?
