This is a really cool concept! Gamers and developers make games, upload them and let the world play them for free. There are some really good games (and some that are not so great) and a really groovy chat function. It’s neat to see the pulse of the sort of “underground” video game developers out there, and to see some of the really original ideas for games.
Plus, you can vote for the games you want, earn badges and awards and more. No, I’m not getting paid by these guys - but maybe I’ll develop a game about video game blogging!
Today I went to a local attraction: the Apple Festival (”Apple” being the fruit, not the company). It was pretty fun, although not many things that interested me. I got some apple ice cream, then walked around to burn off the calories (Ok, not really. I had to walk anyways). Then after awhile I got some Game Fuel Montain Dew. It had Master Cheif from Halo on the bottle; I thought that was pretty neat. Later, we went to the children’s area, watched my brother & sister play on the inflatable stuff, and headed off to eat. When we got home, I played some Super Monkey Ball 2, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (I guess I’m in a Sega kind of mood) and talked to my friend on the phone.
